This law is valid in all US-States because it is the CFR: Code of Federal Regulation CFR Title 29 - Subtitle B - Chapter XVII - Part 1910 - Subpart S Electrical This subpart addresses electrical safety requirements that are necessary for the practical safeguarding of employees in their workplaces and is divided into four major divisions: (a) Design safety standards for electrical systems (b) Safety-related work practices (c) Safety-related maintenance requirements (d) Safety requirements for special equipment (e) Definitions §1910.303 General. (a) Approval. The conductors and equipment required or permitted by this subpart shall be acceptable only if approved, as defined in §1910.399. See: Hints National Electrical Code: NFPA 70 Issued by the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) The use of the NFPA Codes are mandatory depending of US state and version. Depending on use cases other NFPA codes are available. Consumer Product Safety Commission - 16 CFR Part 1110 Defines Certificates of Compliance of consumer products under the Consumer Product Safety Act. For all CPSC regulated consumer products and substances subject to the Final Rule and required to be certified, except for products and substances imported into a foreign trade zone (FTZ) and subsequently entered for consumption or warehousing, the Final Rule is effective on July 8, 2026. For CPSC regulated products and substances entered from an FTZ for consumption or warehousing, the Final Rule is effective on January 8, 2027.
